In India, it is the 3rd most important food crops after rice and wheat. It is grown in all the seasons i.e. kharif, rabi & summer. Production is 90% in Kharif season, 7-8% during the Rabi season & remaining 1-2 % during summer season. Versatile crop that can be successfully grown in varied agro-ecologies ranging from sea level to high altitudes of up to 3000 m. Successfully grown in wide range of soils ranging from loamy sand to clay loam. It serves as a basic raw material as an ingredient to thousands of industrial products that includes starch, oil, protein, alcoholic beverages, food sweeteners, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, film, textile, gum, package and paper industries etc.
The major maize growing states that contributes more than 80% of the total maize production in India are Andhra Pradesh (20.9 %), Karnataka (16.5%), Rajasthan (9.9 %), Maharashtra (9.1%), Bihar (8.9%), Uttar Pradesh (6.1 %), Madhya Pradesh (5.7 %), Himachal Pradesh (4.4 %).The major countries that contribute significantly to the global maize production are USA, China, Brazil, Mexico, India and Indonesia.
Two types of Maize: Yellow Maize & White Maize: The Company exports both Yellow & White Maize for both human and animal consumption. Organic Maize is cultivated under specialized supervision without using harmful chemicals and pesticides. For Exports from India, Maize (Corn) is available in two categories as Grade A & Grade B.

Packing: In about 50 Kgs. Gross NEW PP / HDPE BAGS
Stuffed bulk in 20’ / 40’ containers with some bags filled with same product to be kept in the center and at the opening of the containers to facilitate bulk stuffing.
Quantity: About 5,000 – 10,000 M.Tons (+/- 10%), Merchantable Order Quantity, each product.
Shipments: Within 30 – 45 days from the date of receipt of advance in our Bank account. Please advise Port of Discharge (Partial shipments and Transshipments allowed CY/CY).
Inspection: Quality and Quantity final at load port and binding as Certified by an Independent Surveyors.
Payment: 30 % Advance to be remitted by T.T./SWIFT within 2 Banking Days against our Proforma Invoice & Balance 70% by C.I. L/C payable at sight to be opened within 5 Banking Days of issuance of our Contract.
